Nichole (“Chole”) Howard, also known as NH.x Urban Psalms, is the Artist and Creative Director behind The Writer’s Boutique®—a faith-based creative practice devoted to storytelling, expression, and development.
As a multidisciplinary creative, she commands a dynamic range of roles at the intersection of art, strategy, and storytelling—each executed with intention.
She shows up as:

With over 29 years of experience across creative and industry spaces, she operates by one guiding principle:

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Nichole’s journey began in entertainment at an early age, appearing as a background actor on television and film, including Moesha, The Parkers, The Steve Harvey Show, Remember the Titans, and Fat Albert.
Her professional foundation bridges both creative and corporate spaces, with advanced and degrees in Social and Behavioral Science, International Business, and Administration, along with certifications in Coaching and Christian Ministry. Her work is further enriched by training through Berklee College of Music and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Her experience spans work with various organizations including Priority Records, Paramount Pictures, Stone Cold Action, the Department of Defense, Central Texas College, and both public and private K-12 institutions.
As a military spouse, she carries the unique global perspective—having lived across the country and abroad—using each space as a platform to bloom and share her art, encourage others, and mentor emerging creatives.
Today, her work stands as ministry—reflecting a life grounded in faith, creativity, and purpose, expressed through writing, music, and the development of others.
